Quick And Easy Countertop Water Filters Installation

Filed under: water filters — Tags: — @ 6:47 pm

The arduous process of installing a water filter forces millions of the households to switch to bottled drinking water. A countertop water filter is a less expensive option with easy-to-install systems. Some of these filters require a few tools to connect it to your kitchen faucet or to hook it up under a sink. Some times you may just need a wrench to install the filter. Within a few minutes, it is ready to use for your daily drinking needs.

After purchasing a countertop water filter, make sure that you have all the parts in the box. Some of these filters have a diverter valve and thick plastic tubing that could be attached with the faucet, which should be positioned over the sink. Others are available with a spigot that could be used instead of your normal kitchen faucet. In the later case, you can place the filter over the kitchen counter for easy usage.

Once you have installed it, make sure that all the connections are secure and there are no leaks. Even replacing the filter cartridge is easy. Stop the feed water, clean the inside of the filter housing and replace filter cartridges. While installing the filter, do not change any plumbing as they are in accordance to state and local regulations. Have a cheap and safe water drinking life!
